GREEN CONSTRUCTION

Plant based resins are used to build our paddle boards.

• We use Sicomin Epoxy Systems. This bio resin has a molecular structure that is more than 50% plant based.  - ECOBOARD Project Benchmark
  

Using bamboo eliminates a layer of fiberglass and epoxy.
Vacuum bagging reduces the amount of epoxy required in each layer.

ECO FRIENDLY PACKAGING

We pay more to make sure our packaging is ECO FRIENDLY.

• We use rigid honeycomb cardboard instead of Styrofoam to protect the board's rails and surfaces.
  
• All packing materials are made from 100% recycled cardboard and polythene.
• Wappa does not brand its shipping boxes as we see that as a needless waste of energy.
• The plywood used in our outer packaging is sourced from sustainably managed forests.
