THE WAPPA WARRANTY
Wappa Paddle Boards, “Wappa”, provides warranty for manufacturing defects on all new boards for five (5) years from the date of purchase. The paddle board warranty encompasses Wappa Paddle Boards that were purchased from wappapaddleboards.com or an authorized Wappa Paddle Boards dealer. Warranty coverage is not transferable and as such will only apply to the original purchaser of the paddle board. Proof of purchase must be presented at the time of the warranty claim.
If a product is deemed defective by Wappa, the warranty covers the repair or replacement of the defective product during the 5 year time frame from the original purchase date to that owner.
If the product needs to be replaced and the same model product is not available, we will replace with a similar model product at no cost to you.
If the product can be repaired, all repair locations have to be authorized by Wappa Paddle Boards before any repairs are made to be covered under this warranty.
Wappa will make the final warranty decision on any product in person or by pictures.
This warranty does not cover any damage that may be the result of misuse, unauthorized modifications or repairs, impact accidents, heat exposure/excessive exposure to sunlight, exposure to sub zero temperatures (°C), improper handling, improper transport, improper storage, abuse, dropping, heel dents, normal wear and tear, poor maintenance or care, incorrect set-up or racing.
Dings and cosmetic flaws do not affect the functionality, structural integrity or performance of the board and are therefore, deemed not applicable.
The warranty does not apply to paddles, bags or any other products sold by Wappa.
It is the responsibility of the purchasers to inspect the paddle board at the point of sale and satisfy themselves with the condition of the paddle board at time of delivery. Please refuse delivery if your shipment is clearly and visually damaged. A scuffed or ripped box is not damage. Damage claims must be made within 24 hours of delivery. Claims made outside the 24 hour time period will be rejected.
The five (5) year warranty does not apply to paddle boards purchased before January 1, 2021. All paddle boards purchased prior to January 1, 2021 are covered under the original Wappa 1 (year) warranty.
Wappa Paddle Boards will not be responsible for any costs, losses or damages incurred as a result of loss or use of this product.
