Wappa Paddle Boards is proud to be a Gold level Sponsor of the 5th Annual West Kootenay Paddle Board Race held in Crescent Valley, British Columbia Canada.

This versatile sport is rapidly growing and provides an outlet for people to exercise and connect with nature. This unique event is the only organized SUP river race in Canada. It draws approximately 65-90 participants each year from every stretch of Western Canada to the beautiful Slocan and Columbia rivers. There, experienced and novice paddle boarders alike spend the weekend racing and learning from one another. The participants come away from the event each year with improved technical and rescue skills and an immense sense of community.

Location of Race# 2 on the Slocan River.

RACE DETAILS

July 1st:  River SUP clinics in the evening at Endless Adventure in Crescent Valley.
July 2nd: Race #1 Columbia River from Robson to Genelle (17.8 km.) Evening Celebration and live auction.
July 3rd: Race #2 Slocan River BoardX at Crescent Valley Beach.  Awards Ceremony.

Wappa believes in promoting stand up paddle boarding so that more and more people can experience the joy and benefits that paddle boarding brings.
